A note from our founder
Why I Started DaanKart
Hello, I am George Rakesh Babu. I started DaanKart in Hyderabad in January 2025 because I could not accept that kindness should stop at intention.
Disasters across the world can take away homes, food and security overnight. Families around us still sleep hungry. Bright students sometimes leave education behind only because money stands between them and a classroom. I wanted to create a place where ordinary people could respond to these needs directly, honestly and with care.
Through DaanKart, my hope is that anyone can choose a meal, a sealed first-aid essential, a notebook or another useful product; offer it through pickup or drop-off; and see proof that their kindness reached someone who needed it. We may not solve every hardship at once, but together we can keep one family fed, one child learning and one person hopeful.
